An oval-shaped ‘torpedo’ glass bottle that lies on its side and once held softdrinks for Brisbane’s first European settlers is part of a collection of around 100 artefacts discovered beneath the site of the $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane development.
The artefacts have been uncovered by Destination Brisbane Consortium – the joint venture building the transformational development comprising lead partner, The Star Entertainment Group, and its Hong Kong-based partners, Chow Tai Fook Enterprises and Far East Consortium.
